Products - Fragment Analysis
WG-Fragalyst-4.0 is a MS-Windows based fragment image analysis software package developed to assist the mining
engineers. The system accepts a digitized image of a pile of fragments and performs computerized fragment analysis of
the image for obtaining vital size and shape related information of visible fragments like calculating the diameter, volume,
weight, spherocity & shape-factor. Along with the standard image-processing functions the package provides an
intelligent editor to edit and fine tune the boundaries detected for the various fragments. The system produces graphical
results in the form of various distributions like the Rosin-Rammler curve and the Normal Distributions. In addition to this
the system is equipped to do blast prediction on the basis of current blast analysis and the new input parameters given
by the user.
This software is developed jointly with Central Institute for Mining and Fuel Research.
